Leaving Winnipeg, travel 50 km west on Hwy 1 to PR 430. Travel North another 50 km and you will find the entrance to the St. Ambroise Provincial Park.
My campsite for the weekend is in Section 1, site 069
I arrived about 5 PM on Friday May 21, 2010.
When you look to my left of my camper the campgrounds was empty. Looking to my right, there was two other campers that had already arrived and set up. They were also from Winnipeg.
The washrooms were just across the road from me, but there are no showers in this campgrounds.
Since it was raining at supper time, I decided to cook my hamburger on my George Forman Grill instead of over an open fire.
My campsite had a beautiful view of the sun setting as you can see in the next few pictures.
The back of my campsite as seen from the edge of the lake.
It seems dishes is a never ending task. Whether at home or out in the wilderness..... hahaha
Nordic Walking - Out for my daily hike.
Today, I'm having Wild Alaskian Salmon fillets with patoto chips.
